Project GaianFrom 2015 to 2028, along with the hybrid era of 24 Hours of Le Mans, Porsche recreated its glorious history and dominated Circuit de la Sarthe. While Audi was nearly forgotten.No 24 Hours of Le Mans was held in 2029. The reason is simple: there will be a huge change to the race event which has a history of over 100 years. Circuit de la Sarthe need to be reconstructed. The construction took over a year, thus no race held in 2029.Hybrid powertrain was obsleted. A new system was introduced. It was called Checkpoint Recharging Racing Regulation, or C3R.A totally different world was opened up to the constructors. It was a world full of uncertainties, and, full of opportunities for Audi to fight back and stand on the top of the podium again.Guys in Ingolstadt started a top secret program to build a new car for the new race.
